No technical co‑founder?No problem.

Pre-seed to Series A. We turn ideas into MVPs, MVPs into products, and products into something your first engineering hire is happy to inherit.

What founders tell us on the first call

You said

No technical co-founder

You understand the market deeply but can't judge a developer, an estimate or an architecture.

What we do

A fractional CTO on your side

Senior judgement on every technical decision, in language you understand.

You said

Runway measured in months

Every week spent building the wrong thing is a week you can't get back.

What we do

Scope cut to one workflow

Discovery finds the smallest product that proves your idea, with a written estimate.

You said

Freelancers who vanish

Half-finished code from someone who stopped replying is the most common thing founders bring us.

What we do

A team, not a person

A tech lead, shared code standards and backup cover. Nobody disappears.

You said

Investors asking about tech

Due diligence exposes messy code, missing documentation and accounts in a developer's personal name.

What we do

Diligence-ready from day one

Accounts in your name, documented decisions and clean repositories.

Validate. Launch. Scale.

One partner for the whole journey. Tell us your stage and we'll send a written estimate.

Typically 8–12 weeks

You have an idea and need to know if it works.

Plan your MVP
  • Two-week discovery and a written scope
  • Clickable prototype tested with real users
  • Production MVP on web or mobile
  • Analytics and admin panel
  • 30 days of post-launch fixes

Two ways to work with us after launch

Dedicated team

Named engineers and a tech lead who work only on your product, join your Slack and ship every sprint. Month to month, scaled with 30 days' notice.

Fractional CTO

A senior technical leader, part-time: architecture, hiring, vendor calls and investor due diligence. Sized to the hours you actually need.

Founder questions

What if I only have an idea, no designs or documents?

That's where most founders start. Discovery exists to turn an idea into a scope. You bring the problem and the customers you know; we bring the questions.

How do I know what it will cost?

Start with our estimate questionnaire or a call and we'll send a written estimate. After discovery the scope and estimate are agreed in writing before the build, and anything new is estimated before we build it, so there are no surprise invoices.

Do you sign an NDA before I share my idea?

Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before the first detailed call. Ask for it when you book.

How is this different from hiring freelancers?

Freelancers work alone and can disappear. A Sora team has a tech lead, shared standards and backup cover, and we're contractually accountable for delivery.

What does a fractional CTO actually do?

Owns technical decisions part-time: architecture, vendor choices, hiring plans, security, and speaking for your tech in investor meetings.

What happens after launch?

Most founders move to a monthly team for ongoing work. You can also take the code in-house; we'll hand over documentation and do a two-week transition.

Do you work for equity?

We don't take equity instead of payment. Occasionally we discuss part of the fee as equity alongside cash. Ask us if that's relevant to you.
